...the best concerts that i have ever attended.

my three favorite concert experiences

  1. violent femmes in salt lake city (1986 ish) - my first concert ever - went with my friends forrest and jon. we were front row center stage for the entire concert and left with bruises all over from being there. nothing quite like your first concert
  2. u2 - the zoo tv outdoor tour in denver colorado (1992) - christian and i borrowed bunna's vw fox and drove to denver to see the concert and drove back the next day. a great concert by one of the greatest bands ever.
  3. sting in park city - my favorite singer of all time. the man is a performer! great concert.

honorable mention - rem - the green tour in slc, and james taylor - in kansas city.

  2. played catch with mitchell
  3. looked at golden doodle puppies. we also decided we are going to get one of them when they are old enough to leave thier mommy.

... ways that general authorities eat their Resse's Peanut Butter Cups

ways that 3 of the general authorities eat their Reese's.

  1. thomas s. monson - I remember I ate my first Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup when I was a tender lad of eight. My mother came up to me, and with a loving twinkle in her eye, asked, ‘Tommy, are you eating a Reese’s?’
And I would invariably smile up to her, ‘Yes, yes, I am.’
‘But Tommy, did you know that Sister Jensen next door hasn’t eaten a Reese’s Cup in years?’ My young mind thought upon the plight of my neighbor. Tears were shed. Hearts were gladdened. A cup was shared.
  2. richard g. scott - If you have not eaten a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, I plead with you. Eat one now. Enjoy the chocolate, the peanut butter. Do not delay. If you have thought, “That’s not for me,” I plead with you to reconsider. Of all foods I treasure, this one was the first.
  3. neal a. maxwell - I intentionally initiate the delicious design of the deglutition of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup by nibbling a negligible nit of the culinary creamy cavalcade. It is exclusively through small entities that the great things are fabricated.

these were 3 of 10 found at the following link. http://www.mormonmomma.com/index.php/2007/the-top-10-ways-general-authorities-eat-a-reeses-peanut-butter-cup/

...talents i wish i had that i didn't have to work for.

so - you know in the matrix movies when they sit in the chair and download a skill set into neo's brain and he has instant use of those skills? it got me thinking... what 3 skills/talents would i download first if all the hard work and effort were avoided, and i instantly became an expert. (is this the ultimate lazy post or what?)

  1. guitar - especially acoustic guitar skills
  2. painting - water color, oils etc. not flat, eggshell and semi gloss
  3. photographic memory
