- steve tyler (lead singer of aerosmith) getting off a private plane as i was getting on to brent's plane in norwood, ma. the man is tiny - looks like maybe 110 pounds soaking wet.
- doug flutie (former boston college, cfl and nfl quarterback) on a flight from las vegas to boston. he is a hero in boston. he was very patient with all of the people on the flight that asked to get pictures with him.
- jim gray (sportscaster - known for interviewing mike tyson when tyson said that he wanted to eat lennox lewis's children) sitting next to him on (where else) an airplane.

that is not a brush with fame darin - if i said famous people that i know really well you would have been the top on my list.
